Something to look into

Our coat drive was an instant success. Observing the number of homeless people’s faces getting good coats was breathtaking. I was so happy and appreciated by New York Cares for providing me with all the coats. Just knowing that there will be a few fewer people from cold is a great feeling. THANK YOU, NEW YORK CARES!

Early Spring Fashion Show

Our Early Spring Fashion Show Fundraising was a huge success. Our community young models were amazing.

Our very first grand Fundraising event, Fashion Show Event, where the models are from the community and happy to participate This called empowering people and making them feel good. But I want to thank our Assembly Man of East Harlem Robert Rodriguez, for his great support. There will be other great speakers, food and drinks, and much more. Hope to see you there.

Thrive NYC

Thrive NYC will holding a Mental Health training that Sonia’s Empowering will be hosting. This training should be conducted in every community. Every person that attends this training will be given a certificate at the end of the session.
